Happiest first day of school.

School started today.  Jealous?

As I was meandering around campus, I realized that my little college (ahem . . . University) town goes through a lot of changes come late August.

For instance:

  • The Korean population of Southern Utah quadruples.
  • Our internet connection slows down.  Too many people, too little bandwidth.
  • No longer can I identify 95% of the people I see on campus.
  • McDonald's has 'help wanted' signs up, again.
  • The smoking patio outside the library is actually used for smoking.
  • The line to the Registars office rivals the line to Space Mountain.
  • There is, literally, no Top Ramen left on the shelves of Wal Mart
  • Strange things start appearing more consistently at the local D.I.
Anyway.  Usually I'm totally bummed out when school starts, but not this year.  I've only got two more semesters left, and I'm definitely going to try and make the best out of this one.  Class I'm most looking forward to this semester?  Voice lessons.  I haven't had any since my teacher moved across the country.

What's your schedule like this semester?

After much, much, much deliberation, I'm not sure I will be going back to school this semester; rather, I will be waiting until the spring to transfer back to my old university and give it the ol' college try again. What are you going to school for?? Best of luck with the next two semesters- you've got this!

That is awesome that you are taking voice lessons! It will make you even that much more of a better singer!

As for my schedule you may ask....lots and lots of clinical hours at the hospital and long days in the lab watching a plastic manikan give birth! I'm very excited!!

Hooray for only have two more semesters! (I do too and am so excited to graduate)

I wish I had a schedule! I'm dying to go back to school, I just need to decide what I want to get a master's or certificate in... Good luck with classes!
