I don't always implement them into my wardrobe, but I like to know what's popular. So, today as I was browsing the internet, I searched "hottest fashion trend 2012." Colored jeans were featured in many of the posts I found, and they are one of the trends I have noticed most prominently this season.
I've been seeing colored jeans all over the place this season. On campus, on fashion blogs, in magazines, at clothing stores . . . etc.
And Ashley from I Believe in Unicorns.
Anyway. I'm sort of on the fence with this one. What do you guys think about the colored jean trend? Yea or Nay?

I love it! Some of the colors are a bit iffy, but I have red pants and LOVE them.

I give them a thumbs up - although I'm still on the fence if I need a pair of skinnies due to my height... Tall girls definitely have the advantage on this one. :)

I say if you have the legs for them or you feel comfortable enough go for it. I would love to have a pair of pink colored skinnies but my thighs would hate me even more.

yes yes yes! i made my own red skinnies and I ADORE them! such a fun pop of color! my sister lived in albania a few years ago and all the people there wore them, and I was in love
I think some people make it look so cute but I"m not sure I'm brave enough!

Since blue is my least favorite color, it is nice to see jeans branching out...
...but it does remind me a bit too much of the 80s. I had lots of colored jeans then.
I really like how they look! I have yet to find a pair that I like though - partly because I'm cheap and I don't want to buy something I'm not positive I'll love, unless it's cheap. I really want a red pair!
dude! i bought some red jeans about two months ago and i'm absolutely in love with them. i would wear them daily if that was socially acceptable.

I think it would be a fun trend to try. Funny thing though-I was watching What Not to Wear the other day and it was one of the old ones from like 2009 and the lady they were making over wore colored jeans and they told her only little kids wore colored jeans-guess they're wrong now! haha:)
I just got my first pair of red skinnies and I am in LOVE! Before I got them I was also on the fence but I think they are a super fun way to spice up an outfit!
I am sooo into the colored skinnies! I only own a few colors and want oh-so many more! :) P.s. Where was Alison your EFY counselor at? I was her "counselor" when she was a counselor! You and I might have even been at the same session!! :)

ok I"m glad you brought this up because I'm also on the fence about it. I've decided though that I don't like the bright neon jeans, it's a little too 80's flashback for me.. but the pastels jeans are So cute. I"m having a hard time tracking them down though... where is everyone finding them?! my favorite here is cameron diaz choice though. cute!

I almost bought a pair of emerald green ones at Target yesterday but I totally chickened out. Maybe I should go back and get them?
I get what you mean about not sure to jump on this one. I'm struggling with it. I like it on some people but then I think about me wearing them in my little country town that's completely oblivious to the world of fashion and I'm terrified I'll just look like I walked out of the 80's! Haha. The teal ones are definitely cute. Also, the pale pink ones. I think I might be able to pull those off since they aren't too bright and out there. I want to see your first pair when you get them!

I love coloured jeans! I don't think I could get away with wearing them though. I don't have that "cool" factor to be able to wear them comfortably, these ladies rock them though! Thanks for stopping by my blog by the way :) - Berni
