Totally blushing.

Today was a tiny bit weird.

I'm taking a CNA class right now (random, I know . . . my major is Sociology), and we were passing off skills today.  The skill of the day was transfers.  Transfers basically just mean moving someone from a bed into a wheelchair, or another bed . . . or sometimes just another part of the same bed.

For some reason, I was volunteered to be the person being transferred toady.  I am still trying to figure out the logic of this decision.  I am 5'10", and probably not the easiest person to lift.

One by one, my classmates took turns lifting me out of a hospital bed and moving me be in different positions.

By the time the last guy in our class came over to pass off his skill on me, I was ready to be done.  I was tired from trying to help my classmates move me around, and just felt like maybe this guy was strong enough to do it by himself.

I was wrong.

This guy comes over to me, and starts lifting me out of the bed.  To do this properly, one of his arms was placed under my shoulders, and the other was cradling the underside of my thighs.  This is kind of awkward already, but I was basically used to it after having 18 other people do it to me before him.

The guy starts lifting me up, and loses his grip.  He re-adjusts by moving the arm cradling my under-thighs a little lower.  As he lifts me up this time, my pants come with him.

"Uh. Hai class.  I hope you like my underwear."

Basically, 18 practically strangers saw a lot more of me than I had planned on sharing with them today.  And by today, I mean ever.

You are a sociology major?!? I am an English major, but have taken several soc classes for fun and I love them!

Also sorry about the underwear thing. That sounds... awkward.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
"and by today, i mean ever."

For real, this was awesome. (I love that you're taking a CNA class too, its basically bringing us closer.) During my CNA class I kinda loved being the dummy...but if that ever happened to me IDK if I'd ever want to come to class again EVER. Don't even worry about it though, you'll do way more awkward things...I was the dummy when we were checking off on PERI CARE, and I basically had to hold plastic privates in that general area for my classmates, nbd.

I have had to take those type of trainings for special ed.

The most awkward was I was paired with a girl who hadn't showed clearly in days. We had to practice restraints on each other. I'm not a touchy feely person and I also have an extremely sensitive nose; this went on for three hours. It was just uncomfortable, but not nearly as comfortable as yours.

I feel privileged that you felt inspired to share this amazing story with all of us. YOu are my hero. that's actually similar to one of my worst fears, only mine is for everyone to see my underwear when I"m on my period!! I think that would be the worst ever. So you can be grateful for that, right?! hahah :) way to take it like a champ girl! :)

haha Oh no, that's horrible. Were you wearing cute panties at least? In retrospect, I see girl's cracks/undies all the time when they bend down. Just another one of life's little embarrassments I guess :p

I don't even know you well and I want to run away. Hate when awkward stuff like that happens. Can't even watch awkward movies much. Just breathe and take a nap. Everything's better after sleep.

uhm. that's even more awkward assuming what kind of underwear you were wearing. and if anyone else reads my comment, then it'll get even more awkward.

Haha, I would be mortified! Fun Fact about me: I usually am wearing a pair of spandex shorts under my skirts/dresses because I am really afraid someone will see my panties. :P My fiance thinks it is really weird, and my mom says it was the only way she could get me to wear a dress or skirt as a kid... Some things never change. :P

Hey girl! Letting you know I haven't forgotten about you! I changed jobs and don't have the computer access I once did, but that's ok, I have more time with Hubs.

At least it happened to you when you were doing something "dignified." There was a full moon out when I tried to climb a pillar at school with short shorts one one time. Not good. Nothing you can do but laugh and move on :)

HAHAHA- Oh, Chelsea... you CRACK me up!

Ohh girl!!! I'm glad you can "laugh" it off. Talk about "icing" on the cake...I wonder what everyone thought of your G's ;)

Ohhh, NOOO! :0

But hey, at least the unds stayed in place, ha!

So one day I was about to go into my church building, when suddenly a crazy little dust devil whirlwind thingy popped up out of NOWHERE and totally whipped my skirt up around my waist! And a man from church was right there, asking me if I was okay! Psh!

I have wanted to post something like this on my site and you have given me an idea. Cheers.

Hahahaha! I'm sorry! But I just can't help it :) That's hilarious and awful all at the same time!
Thank goodness our angel suits cover more than you could've hoped ;)
