Hi. I'm versatile.

Do you know this little dear-ie? Well maybe you should, huh?  Miss Lindsey from Everyday Love is someone I happened to stalk-upon during my blog-stalking days (which continue to exist).  She writes about things that make her happy.  And it makes me happy.  Check out her blog.  She will delight you.   She delighted me by nominating me for the "Versatile Blogger" award a few days ago--and I must say, I'm flattered.  Bless your heart, Lindsey!
In order to accept said award, I must do the following things:
- Link back to the person who gave you the award on your post
- Give you 7 details about my life
- Nominate 15 other recently discovered bloggers
- Contact those awarded and tell them they received the award!

Alright.  Well, I did the first one.  And I'll do the second one, but I don't really feel like tagging 15 more bloggers . . . so I guess I'ma cheater.  Most of the blogs I read are written by people I don't personally know.    I don't want them to know how creepy I am.

So.  Here you are.  Seven details about my life:

1.  I love to sing.  Singing might be my favorite thing.  Ever.  However, I refuse to sing in choirs.  I think I'm too competitive for it.  If I'm the only one singing my part, I'm fine.  But if the person next to me is singing the same thing I am, I wig out a little bit.

2.  I get kinda scared talking on the phone.  Especially if I don't know who  is calling me.  I. just. can't. do. it.

3.  I don't really know what I want to be when I 'grow up', yet.  I have some ideas . . . but that is all they are.  Ideas.   And guess what?  I graduate University in December.  Scary.

4.  I'm a little bit addicted to pulling apart my split ends.  Did I just gross you out?  Or make you feel weird?  Sorry.  But, it's the truth.

5.  I like old people a lot (we're talkin' mid 80's-90's, here).  Not their smell, necessarily, but their love.  And their friendship.
{^ Real life friend!}

6.  I am obsessed with my mascara.  I put it on several  times (maybe even more) a day, and have tried so many different brands.  My current love is "Falsies" by Maybelline.  I recommend to you.    Your eyelashes will thank me.

7.  I love cat videos.   Have you seen this one? :

I've watched it more times than I really should admit.   The real secret, however, is that I hate cats in real life.  I really would prefer never to touch one.

So.  There you have it.  Two posts in one day.  I'm on a roll.

Whoohoo.

If you don't know Lynae Lewis, you probably should.  She is an absolute doll, and will bring immediate sunshine to your soul.  Seriously, people.  She twinkles and she glows.  And, in addition to that, she nominated me for this blog award:
Bless her heart.

So to participate, the rules are:
#1: Thank the person who nominated you
#2: Share seven facts about yourself
#3: Nominate 7 new bloggers to participate.
Be sure to comment on their blog so they know they've won, too!

I've already let you in on a few secrets, but here are some more semi-interesting tid-bits.
  • I love curling hair.  I wear my hair curly almost everyday because I think it's fun to do.  If you want your hair curled, it would bring me great pleasure to do the honors.
  • My phone is the least fancy phone in all the land, and I love it that way.  I think T9 is the way to text.
  • I'm a Sociology major because I love to stalk people.  Sorry if it creeps you out, but I'm probably way familiar with your blog.
  • I drive my Great Grandmother's 1990 Chevrolet Caprice Classic.
(Very popular in Afghanistan, I might add).
  • This is playing in my head 75% of the time, lately:
  • When I was six, I broke my neck at the C1 and C2--the same place Christopher Reeve broke his neck.
  • This was my favorite Valentine of the year:
Pretty much sums up my relationship with my husband.  Awesome, right?
So now I tag the following:

Happy Valentines Day.  From me to you.
