My favorite workout.

If I love something a lot, I get really defensive about it.

If you have something mean to say about "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," don't say it to me.  I will crush you.

If you have something mean to say about toy poodles, don't share your poison with me.

And, lastly, if you have something bad to say about working out on the elliptical, I don't want to hear it.

I am one of those people who would rather be hit in the head with a frozen sledge hammer than run on a treadmill.  I just hate it.  The entire time I am on one of those beastly contraptions I am counting down the seconds until I can get off.  No amount of catchy beats, or entertaining television can assist me in my misery.  But, when I get on the elliptical it's a totally different story.  I feel like I am running on a cloud.  My music is more interesting.  And, most importantly, I don't want to die.

I've heard people say that they don't feel like they can get as good of a workout on the elliptical as they can on the treadmill.  But, I am here to slap those people on the wrist.  If you're not sweating when you're on the elliptical, you're simply not doing it right.

I have tried many different elliptical workouts that I've found online, but below is one that I made.

I am definitely not an expert on fitness or working out, but I do love it.  I never thought I would be one of those people who has fun at the gym, but I am.  If you try this workout out, let me know!  And if you have any favorite workouts, I want to know those too!  I am always on the hunt for a good workout.

(Edited to add:)

I have been getting some questions about what incline I use in this workout, and honestly I don't adjust the incline from a 1 or 2!  For a more intense workout, it could definitely be adjusted gradually as you progress through the chart, though.

I'm the same way! I get all defensive of things (and people) I love.

My favorite "workout" is walking 3 miles on our River Greenway with my husband. I know, it's not really great...but that's why you're skinny and I'm, well, NOT. :)

I haven't watched Sabrina is forever! Now I'm craving some TV show re runs. I wonder if I can find them on Ebay. Haha.

Ok, ellipticals definitely make me feel like I am going to die. I will take a treadmill any day because it feels easier. Haha. So, kudos to you for having insanely awesome legs!

I hate the treadmill with a passion. I do love the elliptical though. Have you ever tried doing a cycling class? I recently discovered them and they are the bomb.com! What gym do you go to?

I have all the seasons of Sabrina on DVD and I watch in on my phone everyday while I eat lunch. I'm pretty sure my co-workers thing I'm stuck in the 90s. (I don't care!)

P.S. I'm "friends" with Melissa Joan Hart on Fbook. Does that make me a loser? lol

Will have to try this out! What incline do you use? Or do you vary it throughout the workout?
