Tons of words.

What I really want to do right now is show you pictures of stuff.

However, my camera is outta batteries.  So,  I'll take care of that later.  I still need to document Thanksgiving, and our Christmas decorations/traditions.  Note to self.

Anyway.  I hope you guys don't mind reading my picture-less rantings.  I heard that if you're a really good blogger you'll have a picture with every post.  But let's face it:  I'm not really going for that.  Ha.

**Finals are coming up soooo soon.  I can't believe how fast this semester went by.  I'm kind of freaking out about it.  And guess what else?  I'm graduating in May!  I don't even know how that happened.  I told Mista T. today that I think I'll feel like an adult when I have my Bachelor's degree.  But, I said that before I got married, too.  And I still just feel like a little baby.

**I am the "group leader" for a huge project in one of my classes.  Basically that means I am the group beyotch.  Except I'm not even mean.  I should maybe be a littler bit meaner, actually.  For instance, take yesterday, for example.  Our group was supposed to do a presentation on what we have learned thus far in the course, and I thought everyone knew what he/she was going to talk about.  I had my part down, too, and felt pretty good about it.  When I walk in the classroom, I realize that I am pretty much the only member of my group there . . . and I'm going to have to do the entire presentation by myself.  Those little sneaks.  Well, I ended up doing a pretty crappy job, and so did everyone else in my class.  It was so bad that my teacher got up out of class and walked out the door.  I was like . . . woah.  I didn't know teachers were even allowed to do that.

**This week Mista T. and I decided that we weren't going to eat out for the whole week.  This might not sound like a big deal to you guys . . . but it is a huge deal to us.  Up until this point, we have been eating out at least once a day.  It has been fun, but we're trying to find ways to save our pennies.  So, I have been cooking a lot.  I forgot how much I love it!  And Pinterest continues to change my life.  Every day.  I've found so many delicious recipies to make.  And they're mostly really easy!

Take, for instance, this week.  We've had:

Chicken Stew with Butternut Squash

Chicken Enchilada Pasta

All turned out to be suppperrr good.  Especially the stew.  I would die happy if that was my last meal.

**I just barely ordered Mista T.'s Christmas present.  I can't believe that it's Christmas time already!  It makes me so happy.  This time of year is definitely my favorite (orgional, right?).  Last night we watched "A Christmas Story" and I was the happiest little clam you've ever (never?) seen.  We also drank hot chocolate.  Have you guys tried Stephens Rasberry Cheescake hot chocolate?  I don't even know if I'm allowed to call it hot chocolate, because it's not really . . . but it is freaking great.

**Basically, I am just really happy.

You go girl! Those recipes look amazing! I couldn't go the whole week without eating out. We always eat out on the weekends! I refuse to cook then :)
Annnd I'm really freaking out that it's already Christmas time. I haven't bought ANY Christmas gifts yet. Plus I don't know what to get anyone.... basically I'm screwed. I better come up with some good ideas this weekend or I'm afraid I won't get gifts in time for Christmas. Oopsie!

Your professor walked out of the class? I have never seen that either. I'm not good at being the group beyotch either.

...and I am totally fine with you loving my photos :)

You are awesome! I love that you said that you eat (ate?) fast food once a day. Holden and I are that exact same way. We need to take a lesson from you!!

I'm glad you're so happy :) And I like when you gush about my photos, makes me feel happy too! We should be happy friends :) Oh, and those dishes look tasty. I've been cooking more recently, but before that we just had boring things like pasta twice a week. Yeah....anyways, Happy Christmas! (apparently, I like to sound British.)

I always feel kind of bad when I have to get mean with people under me at work. What else can you do though when their laziness is always going to reflect poorly on you (albeit not fair)? BLERG..
