Some Christmas Questions:

1.  Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?

Hot Chocolate.  Duh.  Stephen's Roasted Hazelnut, please.

2.  When do you hang your decorations up?

My family never had  a set day that we put up decorations every year.  But we always did it after Thanksgiving.  This year Mista T. and I put our tree up a few days before December.  And now I never want to take it down.

3.  Favorite holiday memory as a child?

This one is hard.  There are so many!  The first that came to mind was when Santa brought my sister and me Disney Princess tents.  Mine was Aladdin themed, and my seester's was Beauty and the Beast.  We had so much fun with those!

4.  What's on your Christmas list?

I think I might be the only one in the universe who didn't make a Christmas wish list.  I will be so happy with whatever I get.  I am saving up my holiday cash for a nicer camera, though.  And some new hair extensions.

5.  What's the most important thing about Christmas to you?

Obviously the whole purpose of Christmas is Christ, and celebrating His birth.  Family is really important to me at this time, too.  I could get nothing for Christmas and still  have an amazing day if my family was all together, eating awesome things, and having fun.

6.  What is your favorite tradition?

Mista T. and I haven't really formed many of our own Christmas traditions, yet . . . but we're working on it.  :)  Growing up, my mom always prepared a "Christmas Eve Feast," and it was always the highlight of the season.  She makes these amazing meatballs, and shrimp puffs, and sandwiches, and soup, and different dips and candy.  Ahh.  She's doing it again tomorrow, so I'm freaking out with excitement.

7.  What is your favorite Christmas song?

From a secular standpoint, I would say "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."
But, my favorite religious song of the season is "Oh Holy Night."
8.  Does Santa wrap  presents or just sit them under the tree?

Uh.  Neither.  In my family, each child had a particular spot in the room designated as his/hers.  All of our presents would be laid out on that spot.  It was always SO exciting to wake up in the morning and see our spot covered in fun things.

9.  Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve?

Well, usually not.  My parents always got my sister, brother, and me pajamas, so we'd open those Christmas Eve, but everything else was saved for Christmas morning.  This year, the T. and I are opening our gifts from each other on Christmas Eve because we'll be out of town on Christmas day.

10.  How long did you believe in Santa?

This one is embarrassing.  I believed in Santa longer than anyone I've ever met.  Ha.  I think I was in seventh grade when my mom told me, officially.  And I was way bummed out!  I'd been defending that ol' phony for some of the most awkward years of my life!

This was a little bit fun.  Let me know if you fill it out, too!  I definitely want to read them!
