Supersize me.

You guys are probably wondering what I've been up to the past few days.  And, since I don't have a camera crew following me around, I guess I'll have to tell you myself.

Last night, Mista T. and I decided that we wanted to walk to our local Walmart.

We only needed a couple of items, and figured we could use the exercise.  Round trip is only a few miles, so we felt like it was something we could easily handle.

Once we got to Walmart, we picked up our groceries . . . which happened to be really sensible and adult like.  Seriously.  We're talking lowfat milk, granola bars, and fruit.  Way mature, right?

Well, we forgot one thing . . . Mista T. and I are both huge suckers for McDonald's . . . and our Walmart happens to have a McDonald's inside.  So. we get to the check out stand and as we are paying for our purchase, Mista T. gives me 'the look.'  This look is followed by a "We probably should eat dinner, huh?"  And, before we know it, we're in line to order.

Did you guys know that you can get a 50 piece nugget meal at McDonald's for $10?  Because I didn't, until last night.

But we totally conquered this, together:
Before

After
No regrets.

Just kidding.  We regretted it a little bit on the walk home.

Moral of the story?  You can gain weight by consuming lowfat dairy and fruit.  But only if your Walmart has a McDonald's inside.

I hope Alexis will still be my friend..

Oho, I have to tell you, Chelsea, that I absolutely loved your entry today. A perfect blend of young adult humor and good taste (pun intended). James and Mary Anne have always loved Mc Nuggets and how can you pass a deal like this up? That's like the couple who go run around the track at BYU, then go to Chuck'a Rama to reward their hard workout. Hilarious. Your picture said it all.

Hahaha that McDonalds trip was epic!! I normally don't eat fast food but when I do I remember why I love it! (and also why I avoid it lol!)

Ohh their chicken nuggets are good. :D btw of course you and Mister T. totally negate the effects by buying healthy stuff first ;D

Ha, oh man that's great. And Aaron will definitely want to do this when he hears about it.

P.S. I didn't even read this post till 8/27 - crazy that we both used maps in our posts... or maybe that's just me, haha.

I'm a McDonald's freak and will NEVER knock you for eating there! And, no, I did not know that you can get 50 nuggets for $10, but I'm on that ASAP! And the way I see it, you walked a few miles to get there and a few miles to get home, so there go those calories you consumed anyway! That's about as much math as I do. ;)

Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I was looking at this bog post about going to McDonald's and when I looked at the screen shot of the map, I really thought you live in my area because we have a Veterans Memorial Hwy too! In fact, I just drove down it.

Following on bloglovin and Google :)
