I'ma teach you somthin' real good.

I will admit, I don't know a whole lot about  this whole blogging thing.

But, there is one thing I do know.

You know how sometimes people comment, and they leave a link at the end of their comment that will  bring you back to their website?

Well.  I want to teach you how to do that.

The basic formula to do this is:

<a href="http://URL">TEXT</a>

Let's say you want to end your comment linking me back to your personal blog.  To do this, you would type:

<a herf="http://yourreallycoolblog.blogspot.com">yourreallycoolblog.blogspot.com<a>

The text that would show up would be yourreallcoolblog.com

If you wanted it to say something different, but still direct me to your blog, you would write it after your blog URL">.

For example, when I comment on something, I type in:

<a hearf="http://chelseabellbryant.blogspot.com">~Chelsea</a>

and it shows up as ~Chelsea .

I do this because I want only my name to appear--I like the idea of a linked signature.  But, it all comes down to your personal preference.  You can do whatever you want, because it's your  blog.  And your life.

Alright.  Try it out.  See how it goes.

And you can bet your bottom dollar, that if you comment this way, I will be visiting your blog.  It's too convenient an opportunity to pass.

LOL - I saw people doing that and had no idea how they did it! So I just opened my blog, wrote my name and added the URL of my blog to it. Saw it in HTML and voilá, that's how I got mine. I guess that for being a technotard, I got it right.

Your way seems a lot easier, though!
