**Today I started my summer internship. I'm having a hard time grasping the concept of paying to work rather than getting paid to work, but so far it has gone really well. I get 27 hours a week of quality time with my favorite oldies, and it is awesome.
**The oldies also refer to me as "Barbie." I don't get it. According to this post I look like William Moseley. Not Barbie.
**Did you know that if you start a sentence with "No offense, but . . ." it doesn't cancel out the rude thing you might proceed to say? Because I think a lot of people don't get that. Rude things are always rude. Just be nice.
**Memorial weekend was nice. Mista T. and I babysat a tiny poodle and grumpy wiener dog for my parents while they vacationed in California. We felt like we were on vacation, kind of. We watched movies and ate awesome food, and went on walks. It was beautiful.
**I did something scary this weekend. I dyed my own hair. It was my first time. I usually just go to a professional, but we're trying to save money for things, so I wanted to try and be more economical. All growing up, my mom colored her own hair, and it always looked awesome. I thought maybe mine would look awesome, too. I followed the instructions on the box perfectly. Mixed, applied, waited, conditioned. But guess what? Nothing really happened. My hair is still mostly the same. It was a little bit fun, though.
**I've taught primary for the past few weeks. I'm not sure how I feel about it, yet. Mostly good, though. This week Mista T. is going to teach with me. I'm excited. I just hope the music leader isn't sassy this week.
**I think I might be one of the only people in the world who eats cottage cheese plain. But, it is one of my favorite foods. My roommates always used to think I was disgusting for it. I am not disgusting. I just have a unique appreciate for curded goodness.
**I have a pinterest. Do you? If you do, do you think we could like . . . be friends on there? I want some friends. On there.
