Remember Me?

Exactly one week ago today, Mista T. and I were in the happiest place on earth.  Specifically, I think we were on the California Screamer.

Man alive, I can't believe it's already been seven days.  I would give anything to be back with Mickey and the gang.

I didn't think Disneyland could get any more magnificent than it was when I was a tiny princess worshiper . . . but when you're there with your one true love, magic happens.  Time stops.  Music plays.  You're transported into another universe--where everything is exactly as it should be.

Our getaway started in the majestic land of Saint George, Utah.  I always love visiting my in-laws in good ol' estgee, but this visit was particularly lovely.  Mama T., Mary Anne, and myself had some quality girls' time--watching the newest Jane Eyre movie, and eating delicious Greek food.  Mary Anne allowed me to use her as a Barbie doll.  Doesn't she look stunning?

The next morning, at five o'clock am, Mista T. and I began our journey on to California.  We visited with my grandparents in Canyon Lake, and I ate a steak larger than my face.  Getting to Canyon Lake was quite the endeavor.  Our Google Map directions led us to a Bed Bath and Beyond in Lake Elsinore.  My grandparent's don't live there.  It was confusing.

We then traveled a bit further and visited Mista T.'s family in Glendora.  I'm learning to really like children (gasp).  Mista T.'s cousins' kids are some of the cutest little bug-a-boo's I've ever seen.  They couldn't figure out my name for awhile, so they referred to me as "Barbie."  I was flattered.  Mista T. was not as flattered.  They referred to him as my 'daddy.'  They did have fun mauling him, nonetheless.

Mista T.'s grandpa graciously allowed us to stay at his home (conveniently located 45 minutes away from Disneyland).  I didn't think I was going to be able sleep . . . I was so excited!

The next morning we woke up, ate breakfast with grandpa, and headed down to Disneyland.  I might have been the most enthuastic person in the park.  Possibly.

There really weren't a whole lot of people at Disneyland, comparitavely.  The longest line we waited in was about 12 minutes.  So lucky!  We did almost everything there is to do!

Eating Beef Jerky for the first time (out of a package)

For the children.

watching Captain EO

Apparently, when Mista T. was younger, he actually pulled the sword out of the stone. Fancy.

What wonderful pictures of Disney magic. What is even more magical is that love and unity you two share so early on in your marriage. It is the making for one long and enduring marriage.

So glad you were able to go to D.L. and see Papa Shurtliff and some of the Wolfe family. Just a little secret, Chelsea: you "are" a true princess and you are making a true prince out of our son. (Not that he was a frog before!)
