Trend: Bows.

I'm kind of into bows right now.

Earring bows . . .

Shirt bows . . .

Bows.

I even tied my hair in a bow the other day.

Speaking of hair, I have something to tell you.

Last night, after I got out of the shower, I tried doing this:
in hopes that it would look like this:
but, instead, it looked  like this:
which was not what I was going for.

What do you do to get pretty curls?

I've heard some girls talk about doing the sock bun curls. You can youtube it. The only problem I have heard with it though is a kink in yor hair from the ponytail over night. Maybe something to look into!? My hair just isn't long enough yet. :(

Ever since I had kids....my hair went from perfectly straight to a "not so good wavy". Like, it doesn't look good if I just let it go naturally, yet it doesn't hold curl. I don't get it. But I'm so going to try this video tonight!

I have naturally curly hair. I sleep with in a hair turban..wake up and put a little bit of mousse in it.

If you get a diffuser and use Dove mousse (I have noticed this keeps it from getting crunchy looking). Let your hair air dry a little bit, then put the mousse in, then diffuse it while scrunching it with your hands.

You are just the most cute ever and I love each new post. I get so excited to read them. I hold the curling iron with the top down then wrap a small piece of pre-hairprayed hair around the barrel...and hold. It is so adorable :) My new favorite but with thick hair it takes a while...you can do big curls or small curls. Whichever. They're the wavy curl...or can be a tight curl.

I heart bows. And as for curls....try using a flat iron or a curling stick/rod thingy (curling iron without the clamping part). I've tried the no heat curls, but my hair is too short to do much. And that made a ton of sense :P

Like another girl said, I've tried the sock bun to get curls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FV-YO46E8Y
I give it a so-so. It'd worked but wasn't as much as I thought it'd do. Eh. Plus my hair doesn't hold curls well at all.

I really want to try this though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYxS1ohz4Ao

I use my straightener to curl it. It seems to be less frizzy that way. And I can control it better than a curling iron.
Also, I love
NOT YOUR MOTHERS BEACH BABE spray. I use it when I'm running late because it gives it a beachy look. So cute :)

hahahah I love bows too!!!! And the last picture is hilarious! Last week i posted a picture of a girl with her hair in the shape of a bear last week. where do people get this stuff?!!? And I just use a fat curling iron. Instead of sticking it through the "holer" thing I just wrap it and holde it. it makes them look more natural.

My hair is naturally wavy/straight, so if I do curly, I'm not fooling anyone. However! I find I get the most natural results when I go to bed with damp, braided hair, and in the morning, touch it up with a few flat iron curls. Love that photo with all that herrrr- haha, that's been me more times than I care to admit!
