The Weekenders

Mista T. and I had a pretty sweet three day weekend.

Today I felt  like I was having a serious fun hangover.  Real life is not  even half as fun as the pretend life we lead on the weekends.

On Saturday, Mista T., Mama T., and Papa T. and myself ventured to Lehi, UT for a family reunion.  Papa T. has sixteen brothers and sisters.  All from the same set of parents.  So, it was quite the event.
I don't even pretend to be a photographer, but here is Papa T. with some of his siblings.  Yeah.  This isn't even all of them.

Mista T. got to meet his grandma.  We weren't really sure who she was at first, but she ended up being alright.

Mista T. was trying to photo bomb her, but she ended up doing the bombing.

We ate more food than I thought my body could contain.  But, I keep challenging my limits.

It was a really great little get togeza.

I feel like a bad American for not posting something inspiring or fashionable about the 4th of July.  But, yesterday I wasn't really inspiring or fashionable.

But, I do have to say:  eating this has been the highlight of my summertime thus far.

My mom rocks at making sugar cookie fruit pizza.  She's even patriotic about it.

Also.  I won a giveaway yesterday.  My first one ever.

You can be a little bit jealous, if you want.  Because I won this:
from her.  I am so pumped.

You won the hue and hum giveaway?! I'm SO jealous!!!

Also, have you ever tried making the fruit pizza with a shortbread crust? I like it even better than the sugar cookie crust because it doesn't overwhelm the natural sweetness of the fruit as much! Here's a recipe I found for it:

Looks like you had a great fourth of July weekend! :)

I'm glad you had a good 4th and woah, holy many numbers of family members! That's a lot of siblings! I'd love/be kind of overwhelmed at that lol!
