Blog Swap--Cindy from Tea House Moon

Today, I'm guest posting over at Cindy's blog Tea House Moon!  Cindy, bless her heart,  is posting for me over here.  So, if you need anything, you know where to find me.  Be good for Cindy!

I'd like to say an enthusiastic hello!  to all of Chelsea's readers! I'm Cindy! : )

Yes, I'm so classy.

Today we're both embarking on something brand-new for both of us...*insert dramatic music*

Blog Swapping!!

I've never done this before so I wanted to introduce myself and go into how I'm really grateful to have come into the blogging community because otherwise I would not have met people like Chelsea. :)

I'm from over yonder, past the raspberry bushes, under the Hobbit-holes, and in my corner of the internet at Tea-House Moon!

My blog is a life blog with occasional fashion ramblings, Etsy-love moments, and more philosophical and school questions than anything. I love feedback from people so stop by sometime!

Without all this blogging, I'd be losing a great and constant way to express myself. I also already mentioned the perks of being a blogger because you get to "meet" people online in a "safer than Myspace" kind of way. I think. Hahah. Just thinking about the idea that "Oh wow, I feel really connected to someone from UTAH(or other inserted area)" is amazing. You would never met your blogging peeps without all these genius ways to communicate with others. It's plainly amazing. As time goes on, my blogging has made me become even more grateful for what I already have.

As the 4th of July comes up, I'm really taking this time to be enjoy my life. I'm a biology undergraduate student and summer is meant to be spent volunteering and shadowing and making my resume be as spiffy as it can. While that's all fine and dandy, I just haven't done it yet. It's not that I won't. I just want to enjoy this week until Independence Day is over.

So I say:

  • go to those picnics
  • go OUTSIDE
  • eat that calorie-laden, oh-so-good ice cream
  • attend summer parties
  • watch fireworks
  • spend time with those you love

I constantly need to remind myself that I am grateful for what we get to do everyday as Americans (or as free people in a different country). I hope you're all grateful too because life is not always good nor is it always easy, but life is freely given and how we live it is what matters. :)

Enjoy your summer! I'd be happy to see you in my neck of the woods! (quoted from Al Roker, ooh yeah!)

great post! I agree that a perk of being a blogger is "meeting people" I really feel like I've made some of the best of friends via blog. By the way, I'm someone from Utah! hehe. Well technically Korea, but I live in Utah.

Anyway, I can't believe the summer is halfway over. It needs to slow down. I think I'll take your advice and spend the rest of my summer eating ice cream outside, on a picnic. I feel live I've wasted so much of it already!
