DO soft hair.
DON'T over tan yourself.

DO wear dresses
Embrace your bare legs while you can.
DON'T wear wear ill-fitting rompers.
Seriously. No one wants to look like they have diaper butt.
DO a bright colored lip.
It'll be pretty. I promise.
DON'T do bright eye shadow and a bight lip.
I promise, you will look scary.
So. There's my two cents. Whadda you think? What are the best and worst summer trends this season?

Love your tips!! I need to try the whole braided hair thing. My hair isn't super long, so it might be a challenge. I am huge fan of dresses. Summer clothes freak me out too. I feel like I either have horrible summer clothing or I just don't know what I am doing with it! haha! I am glad that I am not alone! :) I am not a huge fan of oxfords. I see them everywhere!! I am loving rompers, but sadly, this is one trend I can't wear! :(
I really like your tips, Chelsea! Especially the romper thing...I don't like those....at all. Lol! I think its better to know what you like and don't like than be super knowledgeable about fashion.
I just have one correction, if I may. I would like to look like I have a diaper butt so that it would appear I have one at all! Just saying.
Okay, crazy obsessed with this post because it is DEAD ON... especially the over-tanning tip. I see that far too much and it just looks painful. So glad I found your blog. :)
I love braids but just as I was getting good at it I decided to cut my hair short. All well.

I totally agree! Summer is all about effortlessness-- in make up, hair and clothing. It doesn't mean you should be all frumpy, with no makeup whatsoever or with a messy head of hair. It's an art every girl should master! :)

gross. gross. gross. Who in their right mind would design a romper?! For reals. That's yucky. If it doesn't fit the model well, heaven knows they're doing an ill to society by selling them!
